Wonder Language Features

WALT: recognise and understand specific language features

I was able to read carefully through the book to find all the answers to all the language features. Some of them I didn't answer because Some were answered by Mrs P.
I  thought this was tricky because I didn't know what Hyperbole's and Personification meant so I had to Research to find out what them two meant.

Next time I'm going to try and answers all of them by my self without any help.

Baton Relay Race

Walt : Using the internet locate, select and evaluate the text for specific information about how to use a baton in relay races

Today we were reading Patina. In the chapter 9 Patina and the defenders did a relay race with a baton. So today I made a drawing on how to play relay race with a baton.


I was able to search the internet to find how to play relay race with a baton. Also I was able to make a instructional writing to tell the reader what I was learning.


I thought this was fun because I like writing instructional writing and i got to decorate it.


Next time I will want to do this again because this is something like holes and we made poison lipstick.

Adidas and Nike

WALT: Using the internet locate, select and evaluate the text for specific information about basketball players

I was able to research and find facts and key words about two shoe brand called Nike and Adidas. Then  find photos of  their brand shoes. I thought this was in the middle which is tricky because it was tricky to find information (facts). Also it was hard to find out to see if the facts were false or not.

Next time I will add more facts about shoe company and shoes brands by researching on the internet carefully and closely.

Making a Prediction About "Ghost"

WALT:  make a prediction based on the cover and blurb of Ghost

I was able to answer all of the question's by predicting the cover of the book. I thought the boy was running  because he stole some type of  shoes and then  he is running away from the police that is trying to catch him.

Next time I will put more detail into my prediction by reading the blurb carefully.

5 Facts About Usain Bolt

WALT: locate and evaluate information about Usain Bolt on the internet

I was able to find 5 facts describing Usain Bolt and then put them into our own words.

Next time I will make the sentences more into my own words instead of leaving most of it the same.

On this activity we had to read a story then you had to follow the task you had to do with and make a story

I thought this was hard because it took me so long to think of a fairy tale to think about for one of my task

I might want to do this again but it was to hard

I am learning to learn what are the difference of Non fiction and fiction.

It was hard because i didn't know witch one was witch so i ask and they told me so i learned what was the difference.

Today we were learning about friction. I thought it was tricky because i never learnt about friction before only fraction and now i know what friction is. Now i want to do the tumbling boards again with the two big marbles.

Today i thought this was easy because you had to just read the book and then you had to describe the characters. The next time i do something like this i want it to be a little bit harder then this time .

Today my teacher read a story called little red riding hood. Then we started a Venn Diagram so all we had to do is we had to compare characters.

 Today I was doing a Venn Diagram. This was easy because when I was a year four we did a Venn Diagram with my last year teacher . Now I plan to find a harder story to do .
