Baton Relay Race

Walt : Using the internet locate, select and evaluate the text for specific information about how to use a baton in relay races

Today we were reading Patina. In the chapter 9 Patina and the defenders did a relay race with a baton. So today I made a drawing on how to play relay race with a baton.


I was able to search the internet to find how to play relay race with a baton. Also I was able to make a instructional writing to tell the reader what I was learning.


I thought this was fun because I like writing instructional writing and i got to decorate it.


Next time I will want to do this again because this is something like holes and we made poison lipstick.

Poison Make up

My Reflection

I was able to choose and name a Lipstick for my poison make up. I thought this was fun because it is like making my lipstick and telling everyone how my poison lipstick works.


The next book we read i want to do something like this.

Ghost Maths

WALT:  Use a  calculator with accuracy

I was able to use a calculator to add all of the equipment and clothing together from the Rebel Sports website . Also it was very hard to get exactly two thousand but at the end i got to 2000. I thought this was a very good maths task because when you get older you will be doing this all the time.

Now I will try and use more expensive equipment and clothing instead of buying lots of different cheap stuff . Also I plan to use this when I'm older.

Speeches 2017

WALT: deliberately choose words to create an effect on the audience

My Reflection 

I was able to use persuasive words to make my speech persuasive and then put them into sentence to make my speech. Also I was able to use some emotive words to effect the audience.I thought making my speech was supper hard because when you finished your speech you wasn't done because if you didn't add emotive words or persuasive you had to add them in to effect the audience.

Next time I will add more of my emotive words because I only had 3 or 4 also I will try and remember and add more emotive and persuasive.
