I thought it was Tricky because it was hard to think about what to write some of the information. Sometimes we  had to ask the teacher too. Next time i want to try some thing else that is a little bit easy for me.

Character Description

                                                       

This Is Fat granny .

A fat granny that walk like a fat snail and that eats rotten apples.

She cleaning the toilet in the public everyday with her granny friends. She is faster then a cheetah cleaning the toilets  too. every time she get back she say helloely that means hello to her own grandchildren and when she gives them a kiss they get scared because she has scary evil eye browns and choucy lips .

My Holidays

                                            Swimming pools

     In the holidays on 11 of October I went to the swimming  pools            with my Aunty , my grandpa  and my cousin.
 When we went inside the Lloyd Elsmore pools we got a wrist                                                    band.


The first thing I did is got changed in the changing room. After that I hopped in the big Swimming pool. The first thing I did is  counted how long I could hold my breath  under water for. The time was 30 seconds.Then I tried to swim to the other side but it was too long.  I tried 6 times and then I stopped. On the other side of the pool there was a Obstacle course but it cost money, any way I was                        too shy to go on  the Obstacle course. 


Then I went to see my little cousin in the baby pool and there  were lots of sprinklers. I sat in there for about 4 to 5 minutes.  Then I went back in the big swimming pool and did some diving.

Finally I went for a shower in the changing room and washed myself because the hot water ran out at home.  Then when I was supposed to get changed I checked my bag and my clothes wasn't there So I put my togs back on and went out and grabbed my clothes.  After that I got changed and washed my eyes because they were red and  they were hurting. Then My Aunty dropped my grandpa off at my uncle's house. Well we was there  me and my cousin  played on the iPad in the room.  We were playing a piano games and a Shopkins game. About at 4:30 my            Aunty dropped me of at my house and then she went.

Fact Finding in Non-Fiction Texts

I was learning to use the 5 questions to help me find the main ideas in the articles.  I used this information to write a summaries of the articles. I thought it was hard because it took me long to find some information.My Next step is to do another Fact Finding in Non-Fiction Texts with kiwi kids news.

I was learning about probability.  We had to play the game Yahtzee and talk about which combinations were most likely and least likely. I thought it was going to be hard but it was a bit easy for me. My Next step is to learn different Probability.

Term 3 Week 6

        Youth Town 

On Tuesday we went to youth town and we was doing Hockey Games s.

First we pick up the hockey stick then we picked the hockey stick and then brody told us what to do about hockey Then he told us about you put your hand that you don't yous and you put that hand on the top then you put the other hand on the  botten of the stick but don't put it ways down were the botten of the stick
put your hand at the botten of the black tape.

The First  Thing we did is we got a ball and hit it side by side but don't hit it hard just nicely brody told that the the botten bit is called a Hook when the hook is up that means thums up if the hook is facing down that means thums down. after that we played tackle box first eveyone has a ball
then... HOW YOU PLAY first you walk around and you try to hit the other persons ball out off the cones and then the last person wins


The Next Game we played was a game that you dribble the ball with your stick YOU WILL NEED
one Ball four five or four teams then you need 5 cones for each team first you put one cone in fort of the first player in the teams then put the other cones 8 inches  away for the persons cone
first you go up to the 2 cone and then dribble it in between the cones the next one we did is w3e still dribble arouynd the cones but when we got to the end we had to pass the ball side by side then we carry on

Term 3 Week 3

                                                          Cross Country 

 On Tuesday after morning tea at 12:30 we went to Cross Country and we do this till the end of this term.

some people brought there PE gear and running shoes i didn't bring anything. After morning tea at 12:30 

We got ready for Cross Country then sat on the mat. After that we went outside and lined up then went down to the shade area and sat down in a line then we went of and run the year 4 boys went then the year 6 boys went then the year 4 girls went witch was me and then the rest of the class went after that we ran and ran and then i went for another leap and ran with my friend and then i got back  and sat down in the line with                                                                      everybody.

It was hard to run because i did 2 leaps 

and last time i did 1 leap next time i want to do 

1 more leap

Term 2 Week 2

                         On Tuesday Room 28 went to  Youthtown in the hall by the bikes and scooters i was really                                                  happy to go back to Youthtown at school
                           
                         First We sat down on the the floor in the hall. the first  game we played was
                         Sharks Ships and Shore. When the man said sharks we put our hands on our
                          heads and shaped it like a fin , then when he said shore we had to run to the
                              blue cones Then the man said ship we had to run to the White cones.

         After that we played another game but forget what it was called the first round we had a ball that  was          in the front and three rolls across first we went over under over under till we got to the back then the              back person had to dribble the basketball  to the front then the first group to do three laps and sit                           down be quit was the winner and after that we did our clap and lined up at the door at the                                                                              then it was finished

My Holidays

In the holidays My Brother My cousin and I went to watch minions with my two Auntys. It was at the Movies. When we got there we got our tickets , We  Wanted to go to go to the 3D Minions so we had to wait.We was early  because we  didn't no there was a 3D 
Minions , Next we got our 3D glass and our food , I got popcorn and a drink my brother got M&M and a drink, lastly my cousin got popcorn and a drink same as me .After that we gave our tickets to  the lady and we got our seats then the movie started . finally it finished.   my favourite minion is BOB!!  Then when it finished                                   we had to wait for the bus.

in our class we have been learning about Maori gods.  I chose Tangaroa. 

We chose words to describe our God and then made the words from a website called cool text.

I have been learning to find and summarise information in a non-fiction text.   We found an article in Kiwi Kids News and summarised the information.  I found this tricky because it was hard to read and find the information.  My next step is to keep practising this skill.

Term 2 Week 9

                                                     MATARIKI ROTATION 
On Thursday We had a Matariki Rotation we got a number and  then we went outside and got into our
house group groups.  Then the leaders , the teachers took us to the 1st rotation we was making a moari cloke  we colored  in paper hands I did dark green Then  light blue. Next we did the next  rotation it was more coloring in  Room 18.  in room 18 we got to color in the drawing they gave us. After that  we went to Room 12 and we learned about moari weapons like a tiaha that is what we was learning about we.  first we learnt what we had to say then we went out side and started it was fun finally  the rotation bell went then we went back to our class and talk about what we did ......

My Speech planing

I am learning about writing a speech. My speech is about Why are Crystals be special?  It was hard to find information and describe it sometimes.  Next time I will learn more by finding information on the internet.

Recount Workshop Shared Writing

                                                             Te Tuhi trip
            last week Rm 28 went to Te Tuhi witch is near by  Pakuranga plaza.  We went there to learn about   Vertical   Garden                                               ,Matariki 

                       
          First we cut around the lines we drawed on the bottle with               vivid,to make a tab at the  back. We had to do a tab because 
                   they can scraw the scraw on the wall .
   
        Next we yous the yellow, orange stickers to stick on the                   bottles but before that we drawed on the stickers and we 
                                     cut it in shapes.
   
          Then we filled the bottles with pumice Then soil , plants                             after that   we  put more soil in the bottle. 

 
Conclusion 
Overall, I thought it was a fun trip
My favourite part was planting it

I'm looking forward to going to the opening to look at the final artwork.

Comparing Characters

My Reflection

I have been learning to compare characters in a story.  We have been reading Who's a Big Bully Then by Michael Morpurgo.  We used a venn diagram to compare the two main characters from the story.  I found this easy because I listened carefully for the story and I knew about the characters.  My next step is to compare other characters from other stories.

I have been learning to count on from the highest numbers.  I used this strategy to solve this puzzle.  I found this easy because it was easy to count on.  My next step is to use strategies like making ten and using doubles to solve addition problems.

                                                  I be learning to count backwards in the maths group we count backwards from 10 90 80 70 60 50 40 30 20 100. I learnt to count backward from a lot of numbers. next i want to learn more about this.

On Tuesday after lurch we played some games with youth town  that was vallys and mountain. some people had to put
bibs and some people did not. the vally had to tip the mountains down  and the mountains had to stand the
vally up.and how you win is when the vallys or mountain was the moss down or up.

Term 1 Week 5

This week i enjoyed working on the blue whale with Norah.  We learnt about blue whales.  Blue whales are
fast they can stay under water for a long time.  I learnt where blue whale lived and where they eat and where
they have the baby's.  The highlight of my week was when they was fast.  A new thing i learnt is I learnt where blue whale lived and where they eat and where they have the baby's.
