My Reflection

I was able to choose and name a Lipstick for my poison make up. I thought this was fun because it is like making my lipstick and telling everyone how my poison lipstick works.


The next book we read i want to do something like this.

Dance Celebrations

WALT: Understand that people celebrate in different ways.

I was able to research and find 5 or more dances that people celebrate. I thought this was a tricky because it was hard to find some dances

Next time I would like to learn more information about dance (celebrations).

Finding the phase of the moon

 WALT: accurately identify and organise the phases of the moon.


 Learning Reflection


I was able to organise the phases of the moon by reading the description  and then put the moon phases and pictures in the right places. The link between the Phases of the moon and Matariki is the winter solstice and  Matariki comes after the second new moon.

Next time i will look up into the sky and see a New Moon, Waxing Crescent Moon, Full Moon, Last Quarter Moon, 1st Quarter, Waning Crescent Moon, Waning Gibbous Moon and a Waxing Gibbous Moon .

Easter

WALT: understand passing on messages is important

I was able to search up and find out the real meaning of Easter and also
I was able to find some facts about Easter
I think it is important to pass on celebration because if a person did not carry on Christmas on December the 25 there wouldn't be a celebration.

Next time i will add more information about Easter and facts

A-Z Celebrations

I thought this was tricky because some of the letters were hard to find a celebration that starts with that letter.
I want to do this again because it was  fun.

Around The World

I thought this was very cool because we got to learn multiple things like what their country looks like, What food they eat and how they sing the happy birthday.

Today we were learning about machines and like levers pulleys and more

I thought this was tricky because the tricky part was finding the definitions

Next time i will want to do this again because it fun.

What we had to do : we had to chose a kite and do definitions about your kite.

It was tricky because some of the definitions were hard to write, Next time i want to do this again because this is fun .

Rugby Clinic

Today We did Rugby Clinic . I thought it was fun because we got to play games with the rugby ball . Next time i want to play more then 2 games.

It was hard to trice the picture because it had lots of  detail and  the black keep blending in with the brighter colors .So first we had to trice the picture   the teacher gave us. Then we had to color it in with pastel. We chose the loyal loins name because we
 take risk and because loyal loins go with take risk.  Loins are loyal and very smart and they are brave. This year I want to work on doing stuff instead of the teacher telling me and want to work on helping others when they need help.

I was learning lots of things this year.  I thought it was cool doing all off these activity  this year with my class Room 28/29. Next year I hope I  will be in room 29 and have lots of fun doing activity like this year.

In these weeks we have been learning to gliding , floating on our back and more fun things to do in the pool. In the next few weeks i want to improve my swimming by the end of this year.
