Auggie´s Classroom

Walt : identify and use the perimeter rule to calculate the size of Auggie’s classroom.

My Reflection

I was able to measure the perimeter of Auggie´s classroom and add all my measurements together.
I thought this was tricky because it was tricky to use the decimals and find out what it all added up to.
Next time I will want to learn a different and harder way to do Perimeters e.g. Different shapes.

Wonder Language Features

WALT: recognise and understand specific language features

I was able to read carefully through the book to find all the answers to all the language features. Some of them I didn't answer because Some were answered by Mrs P.
I  thought this was tricky because I didn't know what Hyperbole's and Personification meant so I had to Research to find out what them two meant.

Next time I'm going to try and answers all of them by my self without any help.

Precious McKenzie

I was able to use the interment to find out information about Precious McKenzie.
I thought this was hard because I have never used Book Creator before so I had to learn how to use it on the go, also it was tricky to find the answers to my questions.

Kindness Acrostic Poem

WALT: use new words to suit my acrostic poem

Today we were making a kindness acrostic poem about the story book Wonder.
I was able to use four new words in my acrostic poem to make my acrostic more interesting.
Next time I will like to use more then four or five new words so I can get better at using different words that I have never used before.

Baton Relay Race

Walt : Using the internet locate, select and evaluate the text for specific information about how to use a baton in relay races

Today we were reading Patina. In the chapter 9 Patina and the defenders did a relay race with a baton. So today I made a drawing on how to play relay race with a baton.


I was able to search the internet to find how to play relay race with a baton. Also I was able to make a instructional writing to tell the reader what I was learning.


I thought this was fun because I like writing instructional writing and i got to decorate it.


Next time I will want to do this again because this is something like holes and we made poison lipstick.
